I think they were saying there are 15,000 chronic cases, not the total number
of Lyme cases. Of course, nobody has accurate numbers. Some cases appear to
be cured and then reappear, some ARE cured and then the patient is reinfected,
some are infected with other bacteria and viruses, etc.
