he's taking low dose selegiline for "depression" he claims he has. At the dose
he's taking, its a purely dopaminergic med. Its very stimulating and
amphetamine-like...probably the last thing a guy like Larry needs.

Its normally only used for parkinsons and other movement disorders at the low
dosage he's taking it at. At a dosage of only 5 mg, it has ZERO effect on
serotonin and the MAO-A neurotransmitters necessary for effective treatment of
depression. Just 5 mg selegiline isnt going to help anybody's depression, thats
a joke.

In a guy like Larry, taking low dose selegiline is possibly a fast track to
ending up in the psych hospital. Its basically like taking a mild dopamine
agonist or amphetamines essentially. All that dopamine is making him
grandiose, mean, know it all and possibly manic. As youve been seeing lately in
his posts.

Ive noticed a distinct change for the worse in his posts as of late.

He says some pretty outrageous things and he's not joking or saying it to piss
people off either. His judgement sounds poor to me.

He should probably be on some kind of mood stabilizer, maybe lamictal, or
possibly an atypical anti-psychotic. The benzos would be good for him as well.

well in a way I guess..... but even a mild dose of dopamine agonist can
really fuck up
peoples thinking after a while..and if they are intermittently manic
anway...

yes..
.they go way beyond usenet flaming or the usual push and shove..

yes.

.seems like abuse and hatred for anyone who simply dares to challenge his
"special knowledge"
or holds a different view..

he sure does actually seem to believe he is real "special" in some way..
way past trash talk or flaming.
.kind of dangerous really when he believes his own propaganda so fiercely...
