The idea that in some cfids the blood becomes "thicker"
as in "immune activated hypercoaguability" has been around for
a while. If a physician believes this is the case the treatment
is usually done with anti-coagulants such as coumarin.

Not an Eastern idea at all.

People who believe this sometime use Vitamin E in high
doses but recommend that if surgery is needed the Vit. E
be stopped before the operation.

The idea has been promoted on the list before using
the above terminology.
