HPS stuff...

400 Watt Ballast by Tridonic, HPS or MH, about Ł35 to my (actually not my
own!) door, no fitting or reflector (fitting is Ł6 appr.). Good deal? Can't find out if this is just the transformer and I need cap and igniter though, so I'm a bit wary! Shaun aRe

here, a bulb, ballast (with all parts) reflector, goes for about $200.
Go figure the math, but here we have a huge import tax on almost everything!! HGJ

Yeah I bet mate. Prices here are normally WAY above this, hence me wondering if this is a complete set-up, or if it is minus capacitor and igniter. Usual price for a complete 400 Watt set-up would be 100 or 200 Ł, roughly, heheheh... After christmas, I'll probably go and get this stuff anyway. Shaun aRe

Just got back from looking for a cheap HPS myself, found a 150 watt HPS
security light that sells for $90.00 Canadian. wolfman ...no full moon required.
