How so? well I will clarify. what I know about colloidal silicon dioxide is that it is added to many time-released pills probably as a filler for some reason and how it affects abusability is when the pill is mixed with water it turns into a glue-like consistency (this makes it hard for shooting). I've been able to extract some actual liquid out of a mix with generic mscontin (just accomplished this yesterday) for slamming, so it could be accomplished with the generic oxycontin, just takes some effort, experimentation, etc.. now you can still crush the oxycontin and, well, abuse it, though it won't have the same consistency as the name brand in powder form or otherwise. snorting it will results in gobs of unpleasant gobbly goop dripping down your throat, just ask mike donegan about this. what I did with the generic ms contin before yesterday was usually put a few ccs of water in a syringe without a needle), added powder, gave it a shake, then shot it up my bum, I did not have anything close to a daily habit and eventually putting a syringe up my ass got old. but this method did yield much better absorption and I eventually did it with the generic oxycontin for the same reason but also because chewing that shit is way worse than name brand as the gunk gets stuck in your teeth etc. the other method I used the crushed generic OC was by wiping off the coating (at this point it seems the colloid.sili.dio. becomes present on the outside of the pill, unlike with my generic ms contin, making me think if you could scrape it off you'd have less of a problem with gelling up but back to my tea-prep) and then crushing the pill into powder. I then made some delicious chai tea and added the powder to the tea, which is sweet enough to cover up any bitter taste. worked like a charm. much more pleasant experience than chewing or going up the bum, for sure. sorry for the long response. so to answer your question, no it doesn't make them unabusable, and well shit here are the easy ways to do it! You just shot unfiltered crushed MS-Contin, intramuscularly? From a few years I've been here, I learned that unless the solution (a crushed pill, heroin with a lot of undissolved cut, etc.--basically anything that doesn't come from an ampoule prepared for injection) is REALLY clean and filtered, you're in a major risk for an abscess when you go for an IM shot. Even if you can see right through it, it can still have a load of crap in it, in the form of small particles suspended in the solution. IV is much safer for shooting crushed pills...I can't quite understand why, but what you did is considered to be a big no-no. And you didn't even filter that MS-Contin...holy crap.
