>through a wall of ire and so can you. >(misspellings corrected) "wall of IRE"? That's pretty funny....Quite a few degrees down from a "wall of FIRE", eh? Mike Actually, this guys post was so poorly written, I didn't even realize he was offering to sell stuff until other posters commented on it.

Thanks for the "online" offer, but I'll pass.
If I knew you were legit, maybe another story? Do you have any references, salary history, etc? J/K... If you are for real... thanks anyway. If your a phony... I recommend spelling school. When my ex wife and I decided to come off methadone (after about 8 years on the program) we realised that we would be fucked if we were both withdrawing at the same time,so we tossed a coin and she (won/lost) got to withdraw first. When she got down to 5mg the doctor suggested she stop the methadone and go on Lofexadene (which was pretty new at the time, it's similar to clonidene except it's *supposedly* not so bad for your blood pressure) she was also taking Librium and a bit of Amitryptiline and has naturally low blood pressure. The theory with lofexedene was that you started slowly and built up your dose to a maximum of 12 in a 24 hour period over about a week. My ex started on one pill and a couple of hours later I noticed that she was nodding off badly even when eating, she then proceeded to pass out completely with a mouth full of food which I had to get out, after about 5 minutes she regained consciousness but refused sensibly enough to take any more lofexadene. When it came my turn to withdraw I ended up getting so sick of the withdrawals that I decided that I couldn't feel any worse if I just stopped the methadone and went onto the lofexadene at 15mg (big mistake). Anyway I went to Dr. G and expressed my concern that one of these fucking pills had almost put my wife into a coma, his reply (which I will treasure for ever) was "Oh it's OK its been reclassified take 12 on the first day" you will notice he didn't say "there's been new research done" or "we have discovered something new about it" simply "it's been reclassified". At the time of the Harold Shipman thing the media were looking around for other "Doctor death's" they discovered that my doctor was responsible for 3 of his methadone patients dying, admittedly they were pretty much wasters who drank booze and doubled up on doses (not to say anyone who does this is a waster, *but these guys were*). He managed to escape charges because no-one could actually prove he was negligent but he was!, he never tested any of these guys to see if they had a habit (one didn't) he just wrote the scripts irrespective of the fact that these guys histories should have warned any competent doctor that they were going to abuse whatever they got. I also know of kids 18 -19 who were put on methadone by this guy when I knew damn well they didn't have habits, hell they smoked a tiny bit of brown (which was cut to the shit and their "habits" if they actually had one by no means warranted methadone) but he never bothered to check just wrote the scripts. After he retired I got a good doctor (an excellent doctor, in fact the best I have ever had) he told me that when they were cleaning out Dr. G's office they found huge supplies of Diamorph and morphine (he even showed me some of the amps drool....)which is strange because the very first time my ex and I went in to see him his office was a total shambles, he was unbelievably grotty looking for a doctor,he also had dirty fingernails and pinned eyes, when we walked outside we both said at the same time "That guy looks stoned" but we dismissed it because we figured no doctor in charge of a methadone clinic would be a junkie, but after seeing some of the stash I'm not so sure. Anyway he gets my vote for the Mengele Award for his "They been reclassified take 12" after being informed that one had left my wife almost comatose. Arsehole!. The really disgusting thing though was the behavior of the parents of the victims (two where in a homeless shelter and the other had been disowned by his parents and was just dossing on peoples floors) yet according to the parents their sons were little angels who would never have done anything wrong were deeply beloved by their parents and it was that evil negligent doctor who had killed them and naturally there was the compensation to consider (considered very strongly)considering how their families had ignored their existence while they were alive it was truly touching to see the tears when they didn't get compensation. A subsequent inquiry proved him innocent of their deaths but condemned his lax attitude and negligence. Because he had been OK to my ex and I *in general* we started up a petition to help him, for this my reward was to have him go through all the other doctors in-trays and any patient who had been on benzo's or opiates was forced to go to see the drug councilor (I'd shifted to the good doctor in the meantime) Dr. G discovered my prescription and wrote a note on it that I had to see the drug councilor "because I was addicted to Librium" the good doctor had put me on it 8 days before!. This was his final act of vengeance on his patients. When I told the good doctor about this he was really pissed off and called Dr. G every name under the sun but there was no way of getting out of seeing the councilor because Dr. G was the senior partner in the practice. This was also the time I was trying to get some decent pain control and being chucked back into the system (after getting off the methadone) as a "junkie" and a "drug seeker" was the last thing I needed!, it took me about 6 weeks and appointments with the head shrink of the whole districts drug services to partly repair the damage this arsehole had done. So yeah he gets my award and should it be presented anally I will be happy to award it with pleasure. This was also the guy (Dr. G) who was at the was at the centre of the Panda fiasco but that's another story. I also once heard him in the corridors (in plain hearing of the whole waiting room) discussing another patient who he referred to as "a useless bitch" and he had to go out and give her a spinal injection which pissed him off to start with, it also became apparent as the other doctor explained to him how it had to be done that he didn't have a fucking clue what he was doing in this particular case either!.. I often wonder whether that woman escaped unscathed but given his record I doubt it somehow. AG

I've finally managed to locate him, he has his own pain clinic now. I haven't been to see him yet, I rang up and it's $220 for a consultation!! It'll take me a while to save that sort of money on an invalid benefit, or I'll have to wait for a wind-fall. I just hope it's money well-spent, that he doesn't just fob me off. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know that he's still practising and I'd located him, thanks for the info. -- ~misfit~

On a professional level I'm not so sure but I would suggest that the best course of action is to engage his attention or curiosity, he's a researcher at heart. good luck mate I hope it goes well for you (probably best not to mention my name since I was in NZ. I'll email you if I come up with any better ideas about how to approach him, it was actually a pretty cool situation when I was there because I had through my gf relationships with three doctors in one family group, him.,a guy who was the former police surgeon and another doc who was into the less technical side (although he knew about it) but was a great healer and pioneered most of the home birthing movement in NZ .Never managed to set myself up such a comfortable situation since.
