Quality of works
2003-12-10 10:12:55
Here's a poll for anyone on this board that is still using via IV.....at
this point we seem fewer and far between.... In regards to quality and comfort which brand of works do you prefer. Up nutill 6 years ago I was a diehard B/D fan...even the dealers tended to push those with the gear. In this day and ago of the internet there are more choices andn I have come across a website offering works made by a company called ExCel. They have the 1cc/29 micros all the way to the 5/10cc/23 monsters. The price is not bad at around $25 (US) for 100 complete works including postage. Has anyone got any thoughts good or bad about this equipment? cheers!

The points seem sharper, and the plungers seem to be more air-tight. Price? Well, it can't be beat...Free at the needle exchange....But I always make a donation anyway. --samiam

Good point (no pun intended) I have had the terumos as well but they don't
seem to be popular in this area. It's all BD-land here ...guess I was lucky to find an online source for the other brand.Free at the exchange is great but that's less for the guys that really can't afford them. Terumo brand was always my second choice. After a 'blue lady', that is but, they got more and more difficult to get and I haven't seen one in well over sixteen years. So terumo brand became the default iv device. -+Anna+-

But I donate as often as I can, both monetarily, and as a volunteer. I think the needle exchange programs are a great life-saving resource...One that could run out if we abuse them. --samiam > "samiam" > news:taPBb.16569$8y1.70040@attbi_s52... > > > > "Scott Plagmann" > > news:br7d3c$68ju$1@ID-212243.news.uni-berlin.de... > > > Here's a poll for anyone on this board that is still using via > > > this point we seem fewer and far > > > between.... > > > In regards to quality and comfort which brand of works do you prefer. > > > nutill 6 years ago I was a diehard B/D fan...even the dealers tended > > push > > > those with the gear. > > > In this day and ago of the internet there are more choices andn I have > > come > > > across a website offering works made by a company called ExCel.
