What should i tell the doc to give me xanax?

OK so I'm going to go to the doc tomorrow, since tomorrow is sunday i
will go to an urgent care walk in clinic. I have been prescribed xanax
before but i move around states alot so i havent gotten around to
finding a primary care physician yet. I will tell the doc i need a
refill of lexapro and alprazolam. Does this sound kosher? I dont want
the doc suspectng i'm a junkie. Not that I am, anymore. And I know not
to disclose past substance abuse problems i've had.

Does this sound like a story a doc will buy?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON"T ASK YOUR DOCTOR FOR XANAX.
I WAS HOOKED ON 20 mg of Xanax a day for three years and it was the
worst expreience of my life. When I ran low, I suffered seizures and
panic attacks that were so severe that I almost jumped out a window
just to end the episode.

Go for Valium or Ativan or something like that. Xanax is specifically
designed to prevent PANIC ATTACK -- not sooth anxiety. The only problem
is that Xanax actually causes Panic Attacks whe you become addicted
toit -- whic takes about two weeks.

I know I was on a tremendous dose, but I've heard from others who have
told me similar stories to mine. Unlike Valium, which last 6. to 8
hours and just kind of wears off, Xanax FLEES the body. I could FEEL it
fleeing my body, running away like I was a foul odor.

And the W/D symtpoms of Xanax are quite different and much more severe
than other benzos. For instance, besides, the usual anxiety and panic
attacks, there is uncontrollable sobbing, thoughts of suicide and worst
of all: bereavement, the feeling the someone close to you has died.
It's like grief. Of course, it's all in your mind, but it sure doesn't
feel that way.

I finally got off Xanax with the help of an additionologist and lots of
Valium.
I am not addicted to valium and that sucks, but NOTHING IS WORSE THAN
BEING ADDICTED TO XANAX -- and I include opiates in that. I've been on
them all and nothing is as bad as a Xanax habit. Do your mind abd body
a favor. Ask for valium instead.
